3D representation.....
A 3D drawing of our product I had done on Google Sketchup. Our product is a takeaway box made of IDEO biodegradable foam plastic with a "rip-strip"of seed pods which can be planted.

I took a learning styles survey....
Results;
Activist- Very strong preference.
Reflector- Moderate preference.
Theorist- Very low preference.
Pragmatist- Very low preference.
My results were quite contradictory, with my strongest results being both an Activist and a Reflector. However, I feel that this represents me well as many of my qualities are contradictory. I am always keen to experience new things and take new opportunities, but on the other hand I like time to absorb and digest information. With regards to being thrown in at the deep-end, this is true sometimes and untrue other times. My Activist result was spot-on with stating that I learn less when following precise instruction to the letter, but was wrong in stating that I would learn less when listening to lectures or long explanations- I don’t mind this, provided it’s something I’m interested in. The Reflector result was very accurate in stating that I dislike doing things with no time to prepare and being worried by deadlines. I would disagree with the Theorist result in that I DO learn best when I am offered interesting ideas or concepts even though they are not immediately relevant and I have the chance to question and probe ideas.
After meeting with the rest of my design group, it seemed that a lot of us had a common trait, and that was the ACTIVIST quality. Everyone, bar one person, had either a moderate or strong preference to being an ACTIVIST. Another trend which emerged, but not for me, was for the majority of the group showing PRAGMATISTIC preferences. I, however, showed REFLECTOR preferences instead. However, the real “Black Sheep” of the group was Becca who completely bucked the trend by showing strong preferences to REFLECTOR and THEORIST qualities.
